Oh, I'm pleased with this one. Wow. This turned out great. (Well, technically
Baby's head isn't quite that shape,
and Knight is usually shown with a scabbard strapped to his back and
a chin-strap on his helmet. Picky me.)
Fortunately for me, the characters in Guardian's Crusade are so extremely
stylized that they look
pretty much exactly like they do here... which makes them a LOT easier
to draw than your average
quasi-realistic RPG heroes. Well, except for Nehani there. Once you
get her down to sprite size,
she's basically a tiny cloud of glowing dots on the screen.
Oh, geez, I can't believe I drew this. Wow.
Here's the black
and white sketch. Yes, it's smaller than the finished product.
I scanned it in at twice normal size to make coloring easier.
You'll notice that I changed Nehani's face a bit, too, to make her
look
less... um... chinny.
