Vash the Stampede, having an unfortunate run-in with a plate-glass window.
I think the drawing came out pretty well... it wasn't that easy to envision
an anime character all smooshed like
this, but once I did, the drawing went very quickly. I didn't have
to struggle with the features or anything.
I'm still not sure if those silver things on Vash's gloves are rings,
like I drew, or just clips. I couldn't find
much reference art that was helpful. So rings it was... I wanted to
draw rings.
Actual drapery! Amazing!
The CG is kind of messy, I guess... I like the way the face and hair
turned out, but the clothing is a bit too
shadow-y. I already drew the folds, I didn't need to put all that extra
shadowing.
I love the specs, though. Smoosh! There's a... *gasp*... there's a
lens flare on those spectacles. I know,
I know, I'm a baaaad Mooncalf. But dammit, it looked good.
