Ah, Severus, my beloved, looking much more 3D than usual.
This was an experiment in Painter Classic, on black 'paper', using the
Oil Paints tools.
The look I was originally aiming for did NOT materialize, and I was
about to give up
in disgust... but then I started slapping the paper at random, and
eventually, much to
my surprise, I'd painted something that I rather liked.
Immediately after I finished this, I painted a Ramsus picture just
like it, to see if I could
replicate that happy serendipity. To a large extent, I did. Yay me!
I think I misplaced his left eye just a tad, and his eyebrows have issues.
Serious issues.
But still, for my first real, serious attempt at lineless stuff, this
isn't too bad... I love those
lips. I seem to have a real fascination with drawing men's lips. I
wonder what that says about
me? Mmmm... men's lips... That nose! Oh my god, I did a decent nose!
I'm amazed!
Severus looks a bit too young, though, and his hair is a bit shaggier
than usual, too. Oh well.
Dark skin + silver-white hair = happy, happy Mooncalf.
Painter Classic + 8x6 Intuos tablet = happy, happy, HAPPY Mooncalf.
