Oh, he's so hung over. So very hung over, and he's trying very hard not to think about exactly what he did last night to earn all those Mardi Gras beads, which isn't all that hard considering that there are hangover elves pounding on his skull with mallets. Er, anyway. Originally this was meant to be just a standard pinup, wearing a whole bunch of Mardi Gras beads because I thought that would look shiny and nifty. Which it does! I am pleased with this! Those beads were fun to paint! But a slip of my fingers left him looking utterly hung over, and I thought that was so funny that I left it in. Pin-up boy with a hangover! (And a string of pink beads testifying to my smirky sense of humor.) (Makes one wonder where else he's got strings of beads hiding.) (Ahem anyway.) He still has a few anatomy problems, most of which I grouchily gave up on solving. Also, I am positively crap at cel-shading hair (and not so much better at drawing it in the first place), although this is definitely one of my more successful efforts. Once upon a time, a long long time ago, this started as a picture of Futch from Suikoden III. But by now he's changed so much and become such an AU of himself that I can't in good conscience still call him that. The finished version is just some random muscular guy. |
