Kaga grinned and stretched his arm up over his head, holding the go book up as high as he could. Its worn corner almost touched the low ceiling of the science room. "Come'n get it."

Tsutsui paused to shove his glasses up his nose, then lunged for his book, coming up a good three inches short. Kaga waggled the book again. "Gonna have to do better'n that..."

"Give it back!" Tsutsui insisted, his face twisting up. "I need that for when I play!" And slapping his hand onto Kaga's chest, he lunged again, his fingers almost brushing against the spine of the book before falling away. Kaga just grinned and flicked off Tsutsui's glasses with his free hand.

The glasses went spinning end over end through the air to clatter on the floor right by their feet, and Tsutsui followed their flashing arc blindly before diving for them, forgetting for just a moment how close Kaga was. The side of his face scraped along Kaga's stomach, the uniform buttons clawing at his cheek, and at the very same instant his shoulder rammed into Kaga's hip.

Caught off-guard Kaga stumbled backwards, his butt smacking up against one of the long wide lab tables. The go book jerked from his fingers at the impact. It fell behind him, hitting the tabletop with a loud dull thump just as the red-faced Tsutsui straightened back up and shoved his glasses back on.

They looked at each other for a split second, both of them startled, then Tsutsui crowed "Ha!" and lunged past Kaga, ducking past the bigger boy's shoulder to grab his book. Kaga just shook his head, grinned, and threw one arm around Tsutsui's waist, trapping him.

"H-hey!"

"You never learn, do you?" And with a snigger Kaga dug his knuckles into Tsutsui's sides.
