This is actually an illustration for a SotT holiday short story I wrote almost exactly a year ago; it was drawn for a y!gallery collaborative project. The short story in question was written between 9:00pm and 11:40pm on New Year's Eve 2004. Jesus, I have no life. And, of course, Lyn is the only person who's seen the short story in question, and will continue to be the only person who has seen the short story in question for a couple of years yet, as it contains monstrous and immediate spoilers for both book 2 and book 3. Bwah. Go me. The illustration, however, is spoiler-free, and I'm reasonably pleased with it despite the ghetto-ass coloring. (I was pressed for time.) Look, it's all touching and stuff. Awwww. Some day book 3 will be written and I'll be able to put the story that goes with this illustration up on the site. Some day! |
