Shadow of the Templar - Museum Blues

Jeremy and Simon and an unnamed medieval lady. Simon doesn't like museums. Or maybe he just doesn't like going to museums with an infamous art thief. That could also be it.

Yes, yes, 'Museum Blues', I think I'm so funny. I was originally going to ink and color this normally, but in the end I liked the look of cyan on white so much that I decided to use it and only it, and define the figures and space through line weight and blocks of unshaded color instead of through shading and inking.

That's a fancy way of saying 'I was too fucking lazy to ink over my watercolor sketch', for those of you who don't speak Pretentious Art Fag.

I like parts of this. Jeremy came out great; Simon did too, although he's a little less with the details because I drew him so small. For some reason, my favorite part of the picture is the gnarled tree in the background of the painting.

Their facial features are starting to coalesce nicely in my head. Sooner or later I'll actually be able to draw them in some sort of consistant manner. Gasp shock.
